The synopsis for the Secret Garden sounds the exact opposite of
something I'd normally like: a young girl finds a secret garden, and in
it brings life and love to her family. But after seeing this film
(multiple times), it remains one of the most beautiful and interesting
children's tales I've ever seen. The acting, cinematography and story
capture a stark era but bring a tale of romantic ideals to life in an
extremely believable yet moving way. While you might not be interested
in seeing this, I recommend that you do. You won't regret it.
