Eurovision: Host City Bergen, Norway
Year hosted: 1986
Venue: Grieghallen
Facts: The picturesque city of Bergen played host to the first Norwegian edition of Eurovision back in 1986. The contest was marred with controversy after it was revealed the winning artist, Belgium's Sandra Kim, was in fact 13 years old rather than her stated age of 15. Second place Switzerland campaigned for Kim to be disqualified, but this was to no avail. As current rules state that all entrants must be 16 or over, Kim's record as the youngest ever Eurovision winner is unlikely to be broken.
Winner: J'aime la vie by Sandra Kim (Belgium)
